One of the most important factors when it comes to a dress is the length. The length will more than likely vary depending on the event that you are looking to buy for. Maxi dresses for example are fantastic for casual evening wear but you’ll probably want something more formal if it is a dinner date. If you want a short dress then you need to consider just how short you want it and also bear in mind your height. Always try on a dress and ensure it fits in advance of the occasion you are going to attend.

For example an A-line dress looks best on someone that is tall and thin whereas curvy suit sheath dresses. If you are large busted then this will already have enough attention drawn to it so you should avoid ruffles etc. in this area.
Wearing a dress is also a lot to do with confidence. You want to wear something that you feel happy and comfortable in. If you don’t feel that you will be happy in a very short dress then don’t wear it. We look best when we can hold our head up high as we walk in a room and you will only do that if you are 100% happy in whatever it is you are wearing.
